This one is bittersweet because it is my last episode for a while. I’m taking an indefinite break from the podcast to go on maternity leave, but I’m excited for all the content that’s already available for you in this podcast and in the various ways you can still work with me. For this episode I wanted to share a little update of what’s next for me.

If you’ve been listening for a while you’ve probably heard me mention this impending time away and by the U.S. standards it’s a lengthy maternity leave. I’m planning on taking 6 months but we could potentially turn that into 10 depending on mine and my husband’s schedules. He’ll be taking his full paternity leave as well and we’re looking forward to this time with our new little one.

The good news for you is that we have so much content available on the podcast already that answers so many of the questions you have when starting and building your money coaching business and there are also still several programs and ways to work with me and get even more support.

This time away is probably going to be challenging for me because I’ve been very consistent with the podcast and love planning and getting to work on my business. After our little one is 10 months old, we have a daycare signed up to send them to and may be doing a little traveling as well. So with that I’m not making any promises to myself on what’s coming next for the business or the podcast.

I also just want to mention that you can absolutely grow a family and still run a successful business. I’ve just simply made the personal decision to take this break and this time away. I don’t want it to be an unspoken assumption that you can’t do both.

I’m not sure how exactly I’ll be spending my time on leave (besides taking care of a new human), but we’ve been planning to purchase a home in southern Italy so I may get to put my love of interior design and bringing a room together to good use. I also love the idea of putting together a resource for my fellow (mostly American) expats and potentially documenting my whole experience with pregnancy and giving birth in Switzerland and then what it’s like to raise a multilingual, multicultural child in the world.

So I don’t know all the details of exactly what the next chapter looks like, but I’m excited for it and as I mentioned there are plenty of episodes full of great content, as well as ways to work with me available to you. And until next time, I hope you Wander Wealthy.
