A Quick Recap from this episode
I’m diving into 5 hacks that will help you get those coveted paying clients from social media, and this is perfect regardless of where you’re at in your business. These are 5 helpful things that will help you actually drive revenue and create the monetary results that you want, without having to focus on going viral on social media.
If you can understand and implement these 5 elements of social media, then you will get a paying client. And if you do, DM me over @tess_wicks on Instagram and tell me about it!
1. Know your ideal client better than they know themselves.
There needs to be this magical connection between you and your ideal client. Do you research on this person, where they spend their time, how they talk, etc. and immerse yourself in their lives.
Identify their struggles, pain points, and biggest fears. What are their goals and hopes for the future? You need to constantly be researching your ideal client.
2. Create content that they need to hear and read that day, not what you're feeling like posting.
It’s nice to see your everyday life stuff like the smoothie that you’re making, but that’s not what your client needs. You need to plan out what they NEED to hear today. Tap into what they’re frustrated or confused about and create content around that so that they feel like you’re speaking directly to them when they take in your content.
If you know them better than they know themselves, you’ll be able to easily create content that makes them feel like you can hear the thoughts in their head. Don’t just create content for the sake of posting.
3. Create a sanctuary for your clients on your platform.
No matter what platform you’re using, most of these platforms give you the opportunity to create a brand. Treat this platform like it’s a website and have a place where you can store you sharing your story. Use these platforms to share testimonials and share helpful, informative content.
When you really focus on making this platform a daily safe haven for your client to go to, you can provide the solutions to their pain points, and let them know that they have a place to go. Naturally, you become a habit or a ritual in their day. They want to make sure they’re not missing anything from you every day.
4. Develop real relationships.
Interact and engage with your ideal clients. There’s a lot of resistance around this because a) they’re afraid of rejection or b) they don’t want to sound phony or “sales-y”, but honestly if you truly tap into wanting to know your clients on a deeper level, then you’ll naturally build relationships.
Yes, the end goal is for you to get clients, but it’s also for you to find out who you want to work with and make sure that these are people that you want to be working with too. Engage with their profile, answer their questions, interact with them, and get to know them.
5. Talk about your offer!
I say this with so much love in my heart, because I made this mistake so often. At the root of what you offer, you have something that can quite literally change someone’s life, but it can’t change their life if they don’t know about it.
Along the lines of creating a sanctuary on your platform, you can also talk about your offer and share the testimonials or the steps and process that you’ve created that helps get them where they want to go. It seems simple, but so often people don’t talk about it.
These are the 5 hacks that may seem simple, but you have to show up and overcome any of those internal things that might be holding you back. When you implement these hacks you’ll get people asking about your program, how much it costs, and how to get into it, so get that in order!
